Mark Burroughs - Member - Board of Directors - Solutions of North Texas

Mark Burroughs


Mark A. Burroughs graduated 4th in his class of 526 out of Klein High School in the Houston area. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration for Select Students degree from Stephen F. Austin State University, graduating with honors in three years with three majors (business, political science, history). Mark obtained his law degree from the University of Texas School of Law in 1982. Professionally, he is licensed to practice in all Texas Courts, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas, the United States Court of Federal Claims and the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Mr. Burroughs is a member of State Bar of Texas and the Denton County Bar Association and had been a member of the Tarrant and Cooke County Bar Associations, as well as the U.S. Court of Federal Claims Bar Association. Mark served as Mayor for the City of Denton from 2008 to 2014 and now dedicates his time on the SONTX Board of Directors. He has shown time and time again his extreme commitment to volunteerism in his community and the North Texas region and is a wonderful asset for the Solutions of North Texas organization.

Bob Ridenour - Treasurer - SONTX - Solutions of North Texas

Bob Ridenour


Bob Ridenour is the Treasurer on the SONTX Board of Directors and a long-term advocate of our mission. He graduated Drake University with a degree in Accounting, moving on to be the Senior VP and Director of Real Estate Acquisitions for Taggart Investment Company. He is also the Founder and President of RE Management Company, owning and operating hotels and motels. Bob has also served on various church boards and building committees, and taught Sunday school classes. Bob served on the Board of New Horizon’s, a home for abused children, for six years with two years as President. He now dedicates his time as Board Treasurer for Solutions.

Michelle Boerst - Secretary - SONTX - Solutions of North Texas - Denton, Texas Sober Living

Michelle Boerst


Michelle has had a career in business communications since she graduated with a Public Relations degree. She joined the Solutions of North Texas family in 2011 and became the Public Relations Coordinator. She assisted SONTX clients with job skills as well as handling the business communications needs of Solutions. Michelle became a SONTX board member in 2014. In 2019, after achieving her Master Beekeeper Certification, Michelle started her own business in honeybee rescue and relocation – Bursting Bees. She remains on the SONTX board as the Secretary, dedicated to helping clients in recovery.

Brent Snyder - Chair - Board of Directors - Solutions of North Texas

Brent Snyder is a long-time supporter of Solutions of North Texas and the Chair of the SONTX Board of Directors. Brent joined the Board in 2012 as a member and became the Chair in 2013 when the previous Chair resigned. Brent has worked for ACME Brick for 36 years in sales. Living in Denton for over 27 years, Brent dedicates his time and passion to his church – Cross Timbers Community Church, family, and Solutions. Brent is a highly effective Chair who consistently ensures that Solutions stays true to its values, mission, and vision.

Jeff Davis - Member - Board of Directors - Solutions of North Texas

Jeff Davis


Captain Davis has dedicated his life to public service through the United States Army, United States Marshal’s Service, Denton Police Department, Federal Bureau of Investigations, Drug Enforcement Agency, North Texas High Intensity Drug Trafficking Group, and currently serves as Captain of the Denton County Sheriff’s Department. He works closely with Solutions as a member of the Board of Directors. He also serves on the Denton County Drug Court Team with our Founder, Scott Wisenbaker. Captain Davis is a valued member of the Solutions’ Board of Directors and proves time and time again to be an advocate for the people of our community.

Jeremy Hardy - Member - Board of Directors - Solutions of North Texas

Jeremy Hardy


Jeremy has worked in the mental health and addiction field for over 10 years. He currently serves as the Director of Business Development of Carrollton Springs Hospital, and has opened and overseen treatment facilities in 9 different states. In addition to being on the Board of Solutions of North Texas, Jeremy also serves on the Board of Mental Health America of Greater Dallas and provides guidance and coaching to other numerous non-profits in the mental health and addiction field. Jeremy brings expertise in the fields of addiction and treatment and provides our organization with priceless advice and experience.

Chris Summitt - Member - Board of Directors - Solutions of North Texas

Chris Summitt


Chris Summitt has been with the Denton Police Department for 24 years. He has served in all facets of the department and is currently assigned as a watch commander for a patrol team. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from the University of North Texas. He has a Master of Science degree in Criminal Justice Leadership and Management from Sam Houston State University. He is a graduate of the Bill Blackwood Leadership Command College. He is also a graduate of the FBI National Academy. Chris holds a master peace officer license. Chris also commands the Hostage Negotiation Team for the Denton Police Department. He is a certified mental health peace officer. He is a member of the United Way Jail Diversion Committee exploring solutions to jail diversion for the mentally ill in Denton County. Chris has been a presenter on Crisis Intervention for over 15 years. Chris is proud to be part of the Solutions of North Texas team.

Mitch Mitchell - Board Member - Solutions of North Texas

Mitch Mitchell


Mitch Mitchell, Board of Directors member since 2021, is a native of Denton and a steady supporter of Solutions of North Texas. After attending both UNT and SMU, Mitch has had years of experience in multiple industries that Solutions works with daily: the bail bond industry, law firm management, and real estate sales and development. Mitch has had the privilege of flexing his philanthropic muscles many times in life, most notably with The Good Girls Transitional Living Center in Tarrant County, and now with Solutions. Mitch enjoys traveling and spending time with his wonderful wife, Kasey, and his two children Preston and Madeleine.

Casey Reilly - Community Engagement Specialist at Solutions of North Texas - SONTX

Casey is the Giving Officer for Solutions and oversees donor relations, social media and print marketing, events, and the grant writing processes. When Casey became a part of the SONTX team, she started implementing ways to increase donor relations, effectiveness of events and fundraisers, and community involvement. Casey saw the need to bring fresh eyes into the fundraising aspect of Solutions, so she founded the first Solutions of North Texas Advisory Council. Through this council, philanthropic professionals have been brought together to address all areas of fundraising and help Solutions reach a level that has never been seen before. As Chair of the Advisory Council, Casey is putting her goal of helping Solutions thrive into motion. Casey holds a degree in Accounting and worked in the restaurant industry for 13 years before joining our team. She is a big fan of fantasy novels, comic books, and video games, and a collector of novelty coffee mugs and LEGO.

Elizabeth Ashmore - Member of Advisory Council at Sontx

Vice Chair

Elizabeth has worked in non-profit fundraising for over a decade. She currently serves as the Development Officer of Foundation Relations for Austin Street Center in Dallas, Texas raising money to serve those who are experiencing homelessness. Prior to Austin Street, Elizabeth worked as a professional fundraiser for a variety of institutions including Susan G. Komen, The UTHealth School of Dentistry, and the American Cancer Society. In 2016, Elizabeth, new to recovery, connected with Solutions of North Texas as a volunteer with the Women’s Residential Program. And, for the past 4 years, Elizabeth’s involvement with Solutions has grown to include the roles of friend, donor, and unofficial fundraising consultant. She is thrilled to serve as a member of the first Advisory Council in Solutions’ history and looks forward to leveraging her fundraising skills to further Solutions’ mission to fight addiction – one family at a time.

Tanisha Loggins


Tanisha currently works as an Operational Excellence Partner with Essilor of America. She serves as an internal consultant, and travels around the United States and Mexico to help improve lab processes and employee engagement by assisting lab managers in improving efficiency, product quality and employee morale. Tanisha brings over 10 years of project management and data analysis experience. She received her B.S. in Criminal Justice/Criminology from Florida State University and her Master’s in Business Administration- Project Management from Mississippi State University. She has a passion for supporting those in recovery due to seeing the effects addiction had on family and friends. Tanisha is excited to lend her background to the Advisory Council for Solutions of North Texas however necessary to help de-stigmatize addiction and lend support to the community.

Lindsay Jones - Member of Advisory Council at Sontx

Lindsay Jones


Lindsay is an 8-time award winning video producer, videographer, video editor, and photographer. She currently works as the Video Production Manager for Susan G. Komen World Headquarters, the leading non-profit organization working to end breast cancer forever. She tells the stories of breast cancer survivors, those living with Stage 4 Metastatic breast cancer, and the medical researchers working to find a cure. She also collaborates with corporate partners like the Dallas Cowboys and American Airlines to create campaigns and provide video and photographic support with their backing to expand Komen’s reach and impact. Prior to Komen, Lindsay worked in video production for an interactive video marketing company involved with the IndyCar series and a record label in Los Angeles. Other clients she has worked for include the Vatican Museum in Rome and the Dallas Film Society. She is excited to serve as a member of the first Advisory Council for Solutions of North Texas and to use her creative video and production skills to help raise awareness for the addiction community and looks forward to telling the success stories of people with addiction issues to provide hope to others who struggle and are searching for answers.

Davis Gillmartin - Member of Advisory Council at Sontx

Davis Gilmartin


Davis is the newest member of the SONTX Advisory Council and brings with him expertise in nonprofit work and the art/theater community. Davis has contributed his talents to Studio B. Performing Arts Center as a Director, The York Theatre Company as an intern and representative, James Morgan as a Personal Assistant, Giggly Kids on the Go as an Event Coordinator, and is currently a teacher at Lakeview Middle School. Davis is also lending his insight and knowledge to Solutions, helping with the Art of Recovery event and marketing strategies for fundraising, and has immediately become an irreplaceable asset. Davis also recently was awarded the opportunity to study theatre in England and will continue to help Solutions in any way possible remotely while obtaining his Master’s.

Quanah Cruz


Quanah has been an active member of the Denton community for several years. He currently serves as the director of the Denton Gallery, a group that works to support local artists by coordinating art displays and events throughout Denton. Quanah has served on an advisory committee for the Greater Denton Arts Council, worked for several years as a financial peer mentor and student advisor for UNT, and has been series 7 and 63 licensed through FINRA. While working for the University of North Texas, Quanah worked directly with students to provide financial education counseling and organized many on-going educational events. After a successful collaboration, Quanah is working to bring the Denton art community together with Solutions of North Texas in a joining of two great causes.
